AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Every third Saturday of the month, Amarillo residents are invited to take a step toward better health with Walk with a Doc, a health program that brings doctors and patients together to walk.
Officials said those who wish to participate are to meet at the Amarillo Zoo, located at 700 Commanchero Trail, by the front gate. The walk is set for Sept. 20 and will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Potter-Randall Country Medical Society will be sponsoring the entry fee for Walk With a Doc participants.

Walk with a Doc is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire communities through movement and conversation.
