AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – A cover concert set for Oct. 11 at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts is hoping to raise funds to support Center City of Amarillo and the 55+ Club of Amarillo, according to organizers.
The concert, “Big G and Dean Cover Queen,” is expected to include Greg Wright and Dean Yates, alongside Mary Lyn Halley, Dr. Dan Hanson, Vic Richardson, Miranda Pjesky, and Cat Tyson-Day. Organizers said the show will be “an unforgettable night” celebrating the music of Queen.

Organizers said the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, with tickets available online here.
Formerly known as the Amarillo Senior Citizens Association, the 55+ Club of Amarillo is set to benefit from the concert with funding put toward its goal of building a new Senior Activities Center on SW 6th Avenue, “a dynamic space where seniors can stay active and thrive through wellness programs, social events, arts, and lifelong learning.”…
