Two-alarm fire extinguished after scrap metal cutting catches tires ablaze

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo firefighters were able to extinguish a two-alarm fire after some tires caught fire while scrap metal was being cut with a torch.

According to the Amarillo Fire Department, the fire started at about 2:26 at NE 6th Avenue and Philadelphia.
