AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Little Laos, a family-owned restaurant located on the bustling Sixth Street in Amarillo, is making a name for itself by offering a unique blend of Lao and Thai cuisine.
Since opening in June 2024, the restaurant has been turning heads with its vibrant dishes and authentic flavors that reflect the culture and roots of its owners.
The idea for Little Laos came from the passion of Nancy Kyakone and her husband, who has decades of experience in the restaurant business. With a desire to bring Lao food to Amarillo, Nancy has taken the reins in managing the business, while her husband provides his expertise in restaurant operations.
