AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation’s Amarillo District released its “Know Before You Go” report on lane closures for this week.
According to TxDOT, road closures and detours expected throughout this week include:
Monday,
- The westbound shoulder of FM 1912 from SH 136 to the Tyson Foods plant will be closed for seal coat operations. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, Oct. 15.
- The westbound I-40 exit ramp to Paramount Boulevard will be closed for bridgework. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Wednesday,
- The right lane of westbound Spur 591 will be closed for patching operations.
Throughout the Week
- Expect various left lane closures on the I-40 frontage road from Eastern Street to Soncy Road for high-mast lighting installation.
- The left lane of the southbound I-27 frontage road from Bell Street to State Loop (SL) 335 will be closed for high-mast lighting installations. The right shoulder of southbound I-27 from Bell Street to SL 335 will also be closed during this time.
