Amarillo city council faces questions over AI data center water agreement claims

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A non-profit agency, Panhandle Taxpayers for Transparency, has raised concerns about the world’s largest AI data center coming to Amarillo.

The group sent a letter to the city council, questioning claims by Fermi America that it has a “letter of intent” with the city for millions of gallons of water per day.
