It’s not often here in Amarillo that we find ourselves up for some awards. In fact, it’s not very often we even get recognized in this giant state of ours. I mean, Texas is home to some MAJOR cities in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, so it’s understandable that Amarillo feels like a blip on the radar.
However, we’re getting a chance to shine right now, and it’s pretty cool being in the mix of something that has a lot of eyes on it.

Why Amarillo Is In The Spotlight
Center City of Amarillo decided to enter a couple of our buildings downtown into a couple of categories in the Texas Downtown contest. The contest highlights a myriad of different things and has multiple categories for competition.
Well, the two buildings Center City of Amarillo entered into the contest were recently named finalists in the contest, putting eyes on downtown Amarillo for the whole state of Texas to see.
