POTTER COUNTY, Texas (KVII) — The 47th District Attorney’s Office announced that two people have been sentenced for felony DWI in the past two weeks.
The first was on Oct. 14, when a jury in the 181st District Court found Tara Rios guilty of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 in the vehicle. She was given the maximum sentence under law, two years in a state jail and a maximum fine.
Then, on Wednesday, a jury in the 320th District Court found Juan Gonzalez Salazar guilty of driving while intoxicated 3rd or more and he was sentenced to two years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice…
