AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — The Amarillo City Council is set to hold a final reading and vote on a proposal at Tuesday’s city council meeting to sell 2.5 million gallons of water per day to Fermi America for what is projected to be the largest AI data center in the world.
Community members have expressed concerns about the center’s water usage and its implications for future generations.
