There is something about the church fundraiser in Amarillo that I just love. I mean, it’s the community coming together to help out a parish in their community. The families of the church spend time working on the event that helps bring money in.

It’s a win-win. It can be a spaghetti dinner, a German sausage meal, or even a potluck that brings the people of the church and the community together. It’s a day of fellowship and fun.

St. Matthew’s Methodist Church at 1631 S Roberts is no stranger to this. Like many churches in Amarillo, they have the occasional fundraiser to help with things they need throughout the year.
