AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo, a joint venture between Encompass Health and BSA Health System, is celebrating its grand opening on Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
According to Encompass Health and BSA leadership, the freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital will begin serving patients in November, offering specialized care for those recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions.

The hospital features 50 private patient rooms, a therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies, an in-house dialysis suite, and 24-hour nursing care.
