West Texas A&M University’s Department of Agricultural Sciences will hold an event for its alumni in the northeast Texas Panhandle. The event is scheduled for November 20, 2025. The department, together with the WT Alumni Association and the Agriculture Development Association (ADA), will offer a complimentary lunch for agricultural alumni. The lunch will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Hansford County Agricultural Center, 320 East D Ave., Spearman, Texas.
HTS Commodities and Hilltop Securities are sponsoring the lunch. The event is open to alumni from Hansford, Ochiltree, and Hutchinson counties in Texas, as well as Texas County in Oklahoma. Attendees will include Dr. Lance Kieth, associate dean of the Engler College; Dr. Bob Robinson, professor of agriculture; McKinley Begert, ADA board member; Abby Waters, alumni program manager; Ryan Butler, former ADA president; and Gary Culp, founding ADA member.
Dr. Kieth said the event is intended to help alumni reconnect and learn about recent developments in the Department of Agricultural Sciences.
