AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Potter County Judge Nancy Tanner recently announced she will not seek reelection, 11 years after becoming the first woman to hold that position and 35 years after taking her first county job.
In this edition of Let’s Talk About It, the Potter County political pioneer sat down with KAMR Local 4 News’ Andy Justus to discuss getting her first job in the county 35 years ago, and why losing that position motivated her to serve the people of her hometown in an even more profound way.
