AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – For more than 100 years, the Salvation Army has been helping those in need, particularly during the holidays, by receiving donations in a little red kettle.
You’ve seen thee the bell ringers outside stores wearing red aprons and a Santa hat or other festive attire collecting cash donations in a red bucket, the symbol of compassion and community.
