Tascosa Belles perform at 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

NEW YORK CITY (KAMR/KCIT) — The Tascosa Belles made their way to New York City to perform in the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Belles are dancing with Spirit of America Dance.

This is the second time the Belles have earned a spot in the parade. Earlier this year the Belles competed at Showtime International in Galveston and earned a high enough score and Grand National Champions to qualify for an invitation.

“So, with that invitation, we talked to parents and talked to girls and see what the girls would want to do because it is a big endeavor,” Debbie Plunk, Director of the Belles said. “It’s a financial commitment and just something that we have to be prepared for. They decided, yes, let’s move on because we have been here.”
