AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The City of Amarillo announced it received a AAA long-term credit rating from S&P Global Ratings.
The city said it earned the rating for it’s 2026 Certificates of Obligations and Public Property Finance Contractual Obligations.
According to the city, S&P Global cited “Amarillo’s strengths as a regional economic center, conservative financial management and strong reserves.”…
