There have been a few questions going around about the former Munchie’s location in Amarillo. They were located at 3rd and McMaster’s until a fire forced them to shut down. There was hope that maybe they would make a comeback.
What Happened to Munchies at 3rd & McMaster
Those wishes were gone when we saw a ‘For Rent’ sign on the door. We knew Munchie’s was not going to come back, and we had to have our time to grieve. Then there was a little banner that went up that gave us some hope.
On the side of the main building was a banner that said ‘Lupita’s’. We have a few around town, so we are familiar with the restaurant. So we got excited, especially since if you drove by, there were cars in the parking lot.
Rumors & Signs Spark Speculation
