CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Canyon Police Department announced several roads will be closed on Saturday for the Christmas in Canyon celebration.
Officials said starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday, no parking or through traffic will be allowed in the Square, with the exception of 4th Avenue. CPD added that no through traffic will be allowed on 4th & 5th Avenues from 15th St to 19th St, starting at 5:00 p.m. for the Parade of Lights.
West Texas A&M University celebrates Festival of Lights, campus and Canyon Christmas events
CPD said no parking will be allowed on 4th or 5th Avenue all day Saturday, even before closures begin, to attempt to keep the celebration safe.
