Texas A&M Forest Service awards over $550,000 to Panhandle fire departments

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Texas A&M Forest Service has awarded over $550,000 in grants to several volunteer fire departments in the Texas Panhandle.

A news release states the Forest Service awarded 687 fire and rescue equipment and 66 dry hydrant grants to volunteer fire departments across the state.
