Santa visits Northwest Texas Healthcare System by helicopter

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Santa was able to visit visitors, patients, and employees on the LIFESTAR helicopter flying around the Northwest Texas Healthcare System this morning.

According to NWTHS, Santa will be landing on the helipad located on the north side of the hospital and will make his way to the front to greet visitors. Officials note that he will also enjoy cookies and hot chocolate with visitors, as the Heritage Hills Honor Choir sings festive songs.

NWTHS noted that Santa will also make his way to the Children’s Hospital to see patients and their families. The event is celebrated in partnership with the Northwest Auxiliary, according to officials.
