Good Saturday morning, everyone!
This afternoon looks to see a wide range in temperatures as a secondary cold front back doors in from the northeast. From Amarillo to the west, we will see a pleasant but breezy day with the 60’s and a few low 70’s. East of Amarillo, however, will be decidedly chillier with a blend of 40’s and 50’s. The aforementioned secondary cold front will overtake all of our viewing area tomorrow with highs only in the cold 30’s and chilly 40’s.
Regarding precipitation, other than periods of low to mid clouds, no rain or snow is expected with either of these cold fronts. In fact, when Monday rolls around, southwest winds look to return, moderating temperatures back into the 50’s and low 60’s. And we don’t stop there, as of this writing, the 60’s and 70’s could return by Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday!…
