30th Annual WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo Celebrates Three Decades of Authentic Ranching Tradition

The 30th Annual WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo returned to Amarillo, Texas, November 13–16, 2025, marking a milestone year for an event that has become a cornerstone of western heritage. Multi-generation ranching families, former champions, and loyal fans packed the stands to celebrate three decades of competition, camaraderie, and true working cowboy skill. Over four days, top ranch teams from seven states competed for championship honors, with Saturday featuring the fifth annual Youth World Championship Ranch Rodeo.

As is tradition, the event opened with the Special Kids Ranch Rodeo—one of the WRCA’s most beloved programs. Working cowboys teamed up with children for adaptive, hands-on arena activities, creating an atmosphere of support, joy, and connection. Families filled the arena early to cheer on young participants as they experienced modified ranch and rodeo events alongside some of the top hands in the business.

What sets the WRCA apart is its unwavering commitment to authenticity. Every competitor must be a full-time working ranch cowboy, ensuring that every performance in the arena reflects real-world ranching skill, horsemanship, and teamwork.
