ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Shoppers in Old Town enjoyed a festive evening as around 100 children from the Pilgrimage Christmas Concert performed.
The young performers traveled from Amarillo, Texas, to Albuquerque, bringing holiday cheer to the area. Among them was a performer originally from Albuquerque who shared his excitement.
“I would have never thought to be able to do something like this here in Albuquerque, to be able to do music in a city that means so much to me that’s helped me in so many ways,” said Paul Vernier, a youth coordinator with the Neocatechumenal Way. “So to me, it is almost vital, like it was supposed to happen.”…
