AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened early Sunday morning in the 2600 block of Dumas Drive, resulting in the death of a 16-year-old.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, at about 12:05 a.m. on Dec. 21, officers were in the area patrolling when they heard gunshots. APD said officers then began searching the area, and they found the teen in the Hamlet Shopping Center parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.
