AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Amarillo Police Department is seeking information from community members after a man was hospitalized with “life-threatening injuries” Sunday night after being hit by a car.
At around 8:42 p.m. on Sunday, Amarillo police responded to the 1700 block of NE 15th on a report of a man found lying in the roadway. Police said officers found a 31-year-old man lying on the roadway “with signs of being struck by a vehicle.”

The man was taken to an area hospital with “life-threatening injuries,” according to police.
