AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Leadership Amarillo & Canyon has been around since 1981, creating an environment to grow adults and teens so they can give back and help grow the community.
“It is just really our mission to develop empowered leaders, and we do that through a variety of ways in Amarillo and Canyon,” explained Executive Director of Leadership Amarillo and Canyon Missy Macon. “For this kind of non-profit, I think they just decided they wanted to find a way to really grow young leaders and young professionals. Give them a way to showcase our community and really.”
