AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — On Tuesday, Chef Ron, owner of Sunday’s Kitchen, joined Today in Amarillo to prepare a Christmas morning breakfast hash.
Chef Ron brings Christmas cheer with Chicken Tostadas
Holiday Breakfast Hash
- 8 slices thick-cut bacon, diced
- 2 tablespoons oil or butter
- 4 russet potatoes (about 3 pounds), cut into ½ -inch pieces
- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
- 1/cup chorizo
- ½ yellow onion, diced
- 1 large red bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup hatch green chilis
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup green onions, chopped
- 12 eggs, cooked to your liking
- Bread and/or tortillas w/ salsa for serving
