Amarillo City Council considers closing two aging city pools

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Amarillo City Council is discussing the potential closure of two city pools amid safety concerns and deteriorating conditions.

In November, the Parks and Recreation Board voted to recommend the closure of Southeast and Southwest pools due to deterioration and safety concerns.
