AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — The Bishop Hills neighborhood in the Texas Panhandle is once again aglow with Christmas lights, drawing families from across the region. However, the festive displays serve a dual purpose: spreading holiday cheer and supporting the Amarillo Downtown Lions Club through donations.
Gary Marriott, a volunteer with the Amarillo Downtown Lions Club, highlighted the unique aspect of their fundraising efforts.
