AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation’s Amarillo District released its “Know Before You Go” report on lane closures for this week.
According to TxDOT, road closures and detours expected throughout this week include:
Monday, Dec. 29 – Wednesday, Dec. 31
- Drivers can expect various lane closures on northeast State Loop (SL) 335 from SH 136 and NE 3rd Avenue for crack sealing operations.
- The right lane of eastbound I-40 from Adkisson Road to Arnot Road will be closed for edge repair operations.
- The right shoulders of I-40 will be closed in both directions from Whitaker Road to Pullman Road for edge repair operations.
- The right lane of southbound SL 335 from 34th Avenue to FM 2186 will be closed for crack seal operations.
