AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — High School students are preparing to enter the spring semester, which means college applications are due.
Some colleges across the state, like Texas A&M University at College Station and the University of Texas at Austin, have already closed their applications for Fall 2026. But there are universities like the University of Houston that will continue to take applications into the summer.
Sticking to your New Year’s resolutions
Locally, according to West Texas A&M University officials, the university does not have an application deadline. Officials added that students may apply until five days before the start of the semester, provided they have all the required forms and information, and the university can process them without requesting additional information.
