Many new convenience stores have opened in the Yellow City over the last few years.

QuikTrip is a new addition to Amarillo’s convenience store scene. Circle K has made a comeback in Amarillo and continues to grow. Of course, who could forget the Texas staple that is Buc-ee’s, which has captured the hearts of tourists and residents alike.
However, the convenience store boom isn’t stopping, and another new convenience store is coming to Amarillo.
RaceTrac is Opening in Amarillo
It’s time to welcome RaceTrac to the family of Amarillo convenience stores.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, RaceTrac will be building a store in Amarillo at 1805 Lakeside Dr. The project is scheduled to begin in June and be completed by October. The estimated cost of the new RaceTrac is $1.5 million. The store size is 8,702 sq. ft…
