Lego Fans & Card Collectors Finally Get Their Weekend in Amarillo

We have plenty of different conventions that roll through Amarillo, but many times, it seems they’re knife shows or gun shows. Very rarely are they for hobbyists. All of that seems to be changing, though.

There are several collector shows that are getting ready to come through town, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Here’s what’s on tap for January.

Amarillo Brick Convention

It’s back! Last year, Amarillo got its first-ever Lego convention, and it was a HUGE success. Lego and brick enthusiasts of all ages gathered at the Amarillo Civic Center to see some absolutely amazing displays and find some very rare sets for purchase that haven’t been available for years.

This year, it makes its return this weekend. Saturday, January 10th and 11th, the Amarillo Civic Center will be taken over by bricks. Each day is broken down into two, 3-hour sessions that you can purchase tickets for. The tickets are available for purchase here and are $15 plus tax. They’ll be $20 at the door, but if a session is sold out, you won’t be able to get them at the door.
