AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A small earthquake happened early Saturday morning in northeast Amarillo, according to a National Weather Service report.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.9 magnitude earthquake occurred at around 2:34 a.m. on Jan. 10; the epicenter was located in northeast Amarillo.
No injuries or damages were reported, but plenty of people across the High Plains said they felt the earthquake, including residents from Borger, Pampa, Boise City, Wichita Falls, Lubbock, as well as parts of Amarillo…
