AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – For those looking for a night of music, laughter, and a little friendly competition, the Junior League of Amarillo is striking a chord. The organization is preparing to host its Dueling Pianos event, bringing high-energy entertainment together for a good cause.

It will be a battle of the keys, with the crowd in control. Dueling Pianos will feature two pianists going head-to-head, taking song requests from the crowd and keeping the energy high all night.
“It’s two pianos facing each other, and they just kind of go back and forth, and they just duel,” Mackenzie Havel, Dueling Pianos chair with the Junior League of Amarillo, said. “You get to pick songs, and they’ll play them, and they kind of banter back and forth with you. You make it fun. Sometimes you can even pay to stop a song. It’s just a really fun night that you get to have with your friends or your family. And it’s really close to Valentine’s Day, too. So it’s a little date night option, or a group date, or just some time with your friends. It’s gonna be a lot of fun.”
While the pianos duel, the goal is to give back. The fundraiser supports projects aimed at improving lives across the community…
