AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A man has pleaded guilty to drug charges after police found five pounds of meth in a backpack, according to court documents that were filed in federal court.
According to court documents filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas Amarillo Division, Chase Fain agreed to pleaded guilty to “Possession with Intent to Distribute 500 grams or more of Methamphetamine.”

As was previously reported by Myhighplains.com, during a traffic stop, officers allegedly found three plastic baggies of a white crystalline substance, which later field-tested positive for alleged methamphetamine. Documents also state that officers found a large amount of money in Fain’s pocket and an alleged handgun in his backpack.
