I hope that you are in a warm location this weekend with bitterly cold Arctic air taking up residence across our viewing area! Temperatures will continue to nosedive for today and tomorrow with highs only in the teens and low 20’s, and overnight lows in the single digits. Wind chills could be running from 20 below zero to 10 above each morning from today through Monday. Brrr! Bundle up in layers and try to limit the amount of time that you’re outside. Hypothermia and frostbite are the main concerns.
Also, scattered snow showers and bands of moderate to heavy snow look promising for later today, tonight, and possibly in the morning. A few to several inches is possible with isolated areas receiving up to nearly a foot of snow. Needless to say, travelling could become treacherous across the area.
