DoorDash halts services in NW Texas and Oklahoma amid severe winter storm

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — DoorDash has activated its Severe Weather Protocol, suspending operations in Northwest Texas and parts of Oklahoma due to Winter Storm Fern.

The storm is expected to impact over 230 million people across 34 states with heavy snow and ice.

Operations in areas including Lubbock, Amarillo, and parts of Oklahoma were halted at 7:30 p.m. CT on Jan. 23 and will remain suspended until at least noon on Jan. 24, 2026…
