TULIA, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Tulia Police Department reports that a structure fire that lasted overnight on Saturday left two people dead.
According to TPD, at around 8:50 p.m. on Jan. 24, TPD officers received a call about a structure fire in the 200 block of NW 4th Street.

Officials said Tulia VFD was on scene within minutes of the call to find that the house was already covered in flames. After TPD officers interviewed witnesses, they learned two people were in the house at the time of the fire.
TPD detailed that multiple fire crews, including Tulia, Happy, and Silverton, helped overnight to put out the fire. On Sunday morning at around 10:00 a.m., fire crews from Tulia and Canyon were able to locate two dead people inside the home. At this time, the names of the deceased are not being released…
