AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A cardiologist in Pampa is accused of giving a minor alcoholic beverages to drink.
Dr. Kade Daniel Carthel was booked into Potter County Detention Center on Wednesday for a charge of purchasing or furnishing alcohol to a minor, a class A misdemeanor.
In Texas, a Class A misdemeanor carries a punishment of up to a year in county jail and a fine of up to $4,000.
The offense is defined as when an individual “knowingly or with criminal negligence provides, purchases, or makes available an alcoholic beverage to a minor.”…
