Deputies safely resolve mental health call involving juvenile

A disorderly conduct call involving a juvenile experiencing a mental health crisis was safely resolved Wednesday, Feb. 4 at a residence in the 10100 block of Wajo Lane, according to the Potter County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched after receiving reports that a juvenile male inside the home was possibly armed and had made threats of self-harm. As a precaution, a perimeter was established and additional responding units coordinated on scene.

Other occupants were safely escorted from the residence without injury, leaving the juvenile inside the home. Contact was later made, and the juvenile exited the residence shortly afterward without incident…
