AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Residents across the Texas Panhandle can get help with utility bills and connect with community resources during a two-day event this week at the Amarillo Civic Center.
The Community Connections Resource Fair & Utility Blitz, hosted by 2-1-1 of the Texas Panhandle and United Way of Amarillo & Canyon, is scheduled for Feb. 10-11 and will include more than 65 community partners offering utility assistance and other services.
A senior-only session for adults 60 and older is set for Feb. 10 from 1-4 p.m. Organizers said seniors can receive help with utility bills and access senior-focused resources, including incontinence supplies, nutritional drinks and additional support services…
