Canyon man sentenced to 10 years after high-speed chase from Oklahoma into Texas Panhandle

CANYON, Texas (KVII) — A Canyon man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison following a high-speed chase that began with a traffic stop in Oklahoma and ended across multiple counties in the Texas Panhandle.

Rojelio Rodriguez Jr., 41, was sentenced after pleading guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle and assault on a public servant, according to the 69th District Attorney’s Office.
