AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — This Tuesday marks the Lunar New Year, and the Vietnamese community gathered today with the public for a Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration.
“We are Vietnamese, we ran away from home after 1975, after the communists took South Vietnam, and we ran away from the communists, and thanks to America, this is our second hometown,” said Chairman of Vietnamese New Year Celebration Committee Dominic Trinh.
