AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — TxDOT Amarillo ‘Know Before You Go’ traffic report for upcoming week of 2/23/26:
Monday, Feb. 23
- Drivers can expect the left two southbound lanes of the Taylor Street bridge near downtown Amarillo to be closed for bridge joint repairs. The work is expected to be completed by Thursday, Feb. 26.
Throughout the Week
- Drivers can expect various lane closures on the I-40 frontage roads in both directions from Soncy Road to Bell Street for patching operations.
- Drivers can expect the right lane of northbound SH 136 at NE 24th Avenue to be closed for drainage maintenance operations.
