Court docs: Amarillo man broke child’s bone with hands

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A Potter County grand jury decided there is enough evidence to formally charge an 18-year-old man for injuring a child.

Oscar Alexis Fernandez, Jr. is charged with injury to child with recklessness causing serious bodily injury, a second-degree felony.

In Texas, a second-degree felony carries a punishment of up to 20 years in prison.
