The Potter County Fire Marshal is looking for the community’s assistance with additional information regarding a fire that occurred about 4 p.m. Feb. 16 near FM 683 and Sage Circle outside of Amarillo.

The large grass fire — which began as critical weather conditions sparked other blazes around the region the following day — was reported west of the Pantex Plant grounds and near the Fermi America Project Matador construction site Monday, Feb. 16.
