Amarillo man sentenced to more than 24 years in Federal Prison

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A Federal Judge has sentenced a man to more than 24 years in Federal Prison for drug possession.

Darius Chaney was sentenced on March 4 to 24-years and five months after reaching a plea deal back in July.

Chaney was indicted last year for Possession with Intent to distribute 40 Grams or More of Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to distribute 500 Grams or more of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Firearms in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime…
