AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation’s Amarillo District released its “Know Before You Go” report on lane closures for this week.
According to TxDOT, road closures and detours expected throughout this week include:
Monday, March 9
- The right lane of westbound State Loop (SL) 335 at River Road will be closed for patching operations. The work is expected to be completed by Thursday, March 12.
Wednesday, March 11
- The northbound I-27 exit ramp to eastbound I-40 will be closed from 9 p.m. to midnight for delineation work. Traffic will be detoured to Crockett Street during this time.
Throughout the Week
- Drivers can expect various lane closures on the I-40 frontage roads in both directions from Western Street to Washington Street for patching operations.
- The right lane of northbound SL 335 from 34th Avenue to I-40 will be closed for bridge maintenance operations.
