Brisket Fundraiser Amarillo: Support Young Marines 2026

There are a few things that bring people together in Amarillo pretty quickly. Supporting our Veterans is one of them. A plate of smoked brisket doesn’t hurt either. Nothing brings us around a table faster than that combination.

Both of those things will come together at an upcoming Brisket Dinner Fundraiser benefiting the Bomb City Young Marine. The community is invited to sit down, share a meal, and support a program that focuses on youth leadership, discipline, and service.

A Texas-Sized Menu: Brisket, Sides, and Banana Pudding

This dinner is designed to feel like a true Texas gathering. You can expect a full home-style plate featuring smoked brisket, beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and banana pudding for dessert.  It’s the kind of comfort-food meal that makes you slow down, grab a table with friends, and enjoy a little time together.

Honoring Our Heroes: Why Veterans Eat Free on March 28th

One of the most meaningful parts of this dinner is that Veterans eat free as a way to thank them for their service. The fundraiser highlights something Amarillo has always been known for: showing appreciation for those who served while also investing in the next generation of leaders.

The Bomb City Young Marines program teaches young people important life skills like leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. Programs like this rely heavily on community support to continue providing opportunities for local youth.

Beyond the Plate: How Local Businesses Can Sponsor the Event

That is where you can step in. You can show up and get a plate of great food for $12 on March 28th. You can also jump in to help financially. They are looking for local businesses and community members to help offset some of the cost by sponsoring part of the meal.

You can help by donating food items, supplies, or making a financial contribution.  Those sponsorships help provide more meals and raise additional funds that support both local veterans and the Young Marines program…
